Frequently Asked Questions
How do I wash a raschel throw without causing shedding?
Wash raschel polyester throws on a gentle or delicate cycle in cold water and use a mild detergent. Tumble dry on low or air dry; avoid high heat and harsh agitation. Turning the blanket inside out and washing it alone the first few times can reduce loose fibers.
Which blanket size should I choose for two people?
Choose an oversized throw or twin-sized blanket (60" x 80" or 86" x 63") if you regularly share with another person. These larger sizes give comfortable coverage without constant readjusting.
Are polyester raschel throws warm enough for fall evenings?
Yes — high-pile polyester raschel blankets provide good insulation and a soft surface that traps warmth, making them well suited for cool fall game nights indoors. If you run cold, layer with a heavyweight fleece or an extra throw.
